SHIFT is a fourth semester Bachelor of Fine Arts (Fashion) project at Queensland University of Technology, in which we journal the process of our work to develop our philosophy of design. This semester the umbrella theme is “Sustainability” and we were asked to develop 1-2 garments and a blog of our process in week 5 of semester 2, 2009. Sustainable Thimble is one student’s progress in becoming green – stitch by stitch.
